[bug #12245] /etc/mtab dependancy not noted in documentation.

The dependency on /etc/mtab is very usual. Many shell programs, such as diff
and mount, depend on /etc/mtab on many operating systems. This is a common
sense, so not worth mentioning particularly.

If you are doing an unusual thing, you must know how the system works. That's
it.
