Re: PCMCIA AnyCom Blue Problem: msg#00127

Subject: Re: PCMCIA AnyCom Blue Problem

sounds like a bug in your PCMCIA init scripts. What distribution do you
use? May you have to change some things in the PCMCIA config files. For
Debian this is /etc/default/pcmcia.

Hi,

yes, something is going wrong with the pcmcia script :-( I am using RH 9. kernel 2.4.20. The "/etc/init.d/pcmcia restart" says that it is not able to find the pcmcia_core, yenta_socket and ds modules.

I have loaded the pcmcia_core, yenta_socket and ds modules by hand. Also, when i plug my card now, the bluez and bluecard_cs module are loaded, but i still get the error message:

#hciconfig hci0 up
Can't init device hci0. Connection time out (110).

Should i change to another kernel?? Should i change my pcmcia cards :-) ???

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Marcel
