Hello everybody,
I'm also playing with voice though SCO to a JABRA Freespeak headset. I'm
using an USB dongle (3Com 3CREB96) and when I send a audio file to the
headset I also can only hear noise from the headset. I've converted a
MP3 file to a sb.file and de voice settings are also correct (0x0040).
When I use a 3COM PCMCIA bluetooth card (3CRWB6096), I can hear the
audio om the headset without any problem.
I'm using RedHat 9.0 en no Patch at all, because everything was working
fine so far without the need of any patch.
In de e-mail from Alan he says that PSKEY_HOSTIO_MAP_SCO_PCM and
PSKEY_HOSTIO_MAP_SCO_CODEC must be set to FALSE (0x00). My question is
how can I do this en where can I find those parameters. In de mailing
list I found another e-mail from Marcel where he talks about a program
that he wrote called 'scoinfo-0.1', do you know where can I find it too?
at the BlueZ site i can't find nothing about it.
