You can probably find at least some of it there. what literature did you read in order to develop the client / server architecture of SC3? none to get the idea - it just evolved from what I was doing with OSC in SC2 and what I thought was wrong with the SC3d5 architecture and the best way to fix it. Once I was implementing it I read man pages and browsed Advanced Programming in the UNIX Environment at the Borders cafe. is there any sort of UML diagram that illustrates how SC3 is wired? No. I think pictures do a poor job of representing software. The best way to diagram a C/C++ program in my mind is to write the headers. And the good part of that is then you have got a start on the implementation.
