NRT option?: msg#00142audio.supercollider.devel
Hi everyone, I was wondering how difficult it may be to add a duration argument to the -N flag in scsynth as a way to stop NRT. I was thinking that this may make more sense than having a dummy command (such as [10.0, [[\c_set, 0, 0]]) at the end of an OSC score. Perhaps something like: -N <cmd-filename> <input-filename> <output-filename> <sample-rate> <header-format> <sample-format> <duration> Is something like this possible? Would something like this make sense to anyone else, or is it just a bad idea. I don't really know all the underlying reasons for using the OSC scores the way they are used currently for NRT, but if others think this is worthwhile and possible, I wouldn't mind working on it. Thanks for any suggestions or reasons not to do this. Josh Parmenter |
