Get a copy of Tom's Root Boot. You will have to
manually mount your hard drive after booting, but you
should be able to get to grub.conf or any other file
to view or edit.

If you can not boot with Tom's Root Boot, a hardware
failure or confict may be worth investigating:

An FC 2 rescue should work just as well, too.
