October database archives released

Hello fdb-announce list-members,

new database archives

The new database archives for October have been released on
October 24th.

Please do not re-download the whole database, if you already have an
old complete database archive. All complete database archive releases
from 21st of Juli 2001 or newer can be updated using the
update-archives. Users of the Unix format database archives can simply
extract the update-files over the existing database, while users of
the Windows database archives can use the freedb-updater to update
their archives. If you need more than one update-file, please make
sure, that you apply them in the correct order (i.e. oldest first,
newest last).

uk.freedb.org is back
---------------------
uk.freedb.org, our freedb-server-mirror in the UK, is finally back on
a new server. The freedb team thanks Dominic  Hargreaves for setting
up and hosting this mirror for us.
If you live in or near the UK, it might be a good idea to switch to
using that server in order to get faster response-times.
