I installed fink under /Volumes/scheibe/fink and I don't like my choice
anymore, and would like to change it to /Volumes/scheibe/sw (I realize
this is purely cosmetic). However, just renaming the directory and
changing all the paths in etc/fink.conf and bin/init.sh won't do the
trick because fink itself then won't find etc/fink.conf anymore when
e.g. trying to run
# fink configure
- amongst other problems (such as DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH being screwed and vi
not finding the terminal database). Can it be done or am I just crazy?
