Installed kde with "apt-get install bundle-kde" method. Problems |
|
Hi,
I followed the
instructions at the Fink www site to install kde.
I did the "sudo apt-get install bundle-kde" method to
install it. The install went fine.
When i start kde up using XDarwin, i get two messages in a box with an
"okay" button to click. After i click the "okay"
on the first message, i get the second message. After i click the
"okay" on the second message, XDarwin exits and i am back to
my OS X destop.
The first message is "Couldn't start kdeinit. Check your
installation.".
The second message is "Couldn't start ksmserver. Check your
installation.".
Any ideas of what
to check for?
Thanks.
