Martin,
I ran fink cvs update and the correct version appeared. i had to go in
and delete the source files for kde and after that is is dling
everything again. i do not know what the problem exactly was but it
seems to be fixed. thanks for all the info.

Actually, the file name is bundle-kde-3.0.7-4.info, but the version
information inside says 3.0.7-3, so fink treats it as 3.0.7-3. Little
confusing bug. But 3.0.7-2 really is no longer in the cvs repository.
Maybe someone else can explain how you managed to get it.
