Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

I have 2 questions to clarify the proposal.

1. Does xml.apache.org know that ws.apache.org wants to develop a JAXB
implementation?

Yes

2. Does xml.apache.org have plans to develop a JAXB implementation?

Not directly, although it's likely that XMLBeans will become JSR-31 compliant

I ask because I would prefer that a single JAXB implementation come out of
Apache to avoid confusion to users and duplication of effort for developers.

Thanks,

Scott Nichol

As you probably aware of...JAX-RPC is moving towards tighter integration with
JAXB in the future.
This is one of the drivers for a JAXB implementation at Apache. See
http://nagoya.apache.org/wiki/apachewiki.cgi?JaxbProposal for details

PLEASE cast your ballot in favor of incubating JaxMe for eventual move to
ws.apache.org: (PLEASE
