Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

Hello Samisa,

thank you very much for your efforts.

In our project we use both proxy auth and http auth. First we have to go
through our company proxy and then auth to a customer server in the internet.
Http auth we use in the same way (setUserName() and setPassword())) and for the
proxy auth we use the function above. But anyway it doesn´t function .... the
customer server always say that we call the wrong method. Without using any
proxy we have no problem, so the endpoint must be right.
We have also tried the same webservice with gsoap, which produce the same soap
request as axis, and we got an result.

What´s wrong ?? Do have any idea ??

Greetings Silke

> I´ll try to use the SetProxy-Method stub.setproxy(proxyserver, port), but the
> proxy always get no authentification.
> There is no Proxy-Authentification topic in the message, when I looked with
> the tcpmon-tool. So I get always the message "HTTPTransport exception: HTTP
> transport error proxy Authentification required"
> I use basic authentification.
> In the document "UsingProxy.txt" from Samisa there is nothing else mentioned
> Greetings Silke
