Yes, shure, ;-) I think so too.

I know the documentation you refer to and I checked httpd.conf, apache2,
and all the other files.

The problem is:
Suse 9.1 installs apache 2 + mod_perl 1.9x

The docs on perl.apache.org (and all other examples I found) describe
Apache 1.3x + mod_perl 1.9x
or
Apache 2 + mod_perl 2.x
but not the mix on my linux box.
