Categories in Log4net: msg#00022

Subject:	Categories in Log4net

Hey!

I'm just wondering, log4j knows something called categories to sort the appenders.
Allthough I don't really know the difference between having seperate loggers and having seperate categories, I would like to know if log4net knows categories too and , if so, how they can be configured using an xml-style configuration file.
