Directory for FileAppender: msg#00045apache.logging.log4cxx.user
What is the preferred way of setting the directory in which logfiles are stored? I'd like to have in my configuration file only the basename of the logfile, the directory should be determined by the application, depending on the user context (e.g. $HOME/logs on Unixen or %USERPROFILE%\somewhere). Is there another way than dynamically changing the working directory of my application? What if I'd like to spread several logfiles to different directories?
