RE: Can I have time stamp in log file name?: msg#00064apache.logging.log4cxx.user
Hi Ambarish, Instead of using RollingFIleAppender, You use DailyRollingFileAppender, where you can specify name of file and also after what interval y want back up. for example. At approximately 11:23,000, on March 9th, 2001, /foo/bar.log will be copied to /foo/bar.log.2001-03-09-11-22. Logging for the minute of 11:23 (9th of March) will be output to /foo/bar.log until it is rolled over the next minute. That will solve your problem Regards Prakash K. -----Original Message----- From: Ambarish Mitra [mailto:ambarish_mitra@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Mon 2/21/2005 6:37 PM To: log4cxx-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: Subject: Can I have time stamp in log file name? <<winmail.dat>>
