Hi Stefan,

node type management has been intentionally left out in version 1.0 of the spec. we plan to cover node type mgmt
(amongst other features such as access control mgmt etc)
in the next version of the spec (probably 1.1).

Were you refering to the next JSR-170 spec or the next version of Jackrabbit (access control in particular)?
