Thanks for taking the effort to do this -- I'm sure it will
substantially help a lot of people who use XSB.

It sounds very reasonable, but I have one question question i
about packages.  Our CHR routines are a package --
including our main CHR interpreter and preprocessor.  They may be
libraries in other systems, and possibly
packages/CHR/chr_interp.xwam and chr_pp.xwam should be in minimal or at
least base?
