Hi!
Following some recent discussions on this mailing list about minimal
install, I'm revamping the prototype Windows GUI installer to allow
for both minimal and custom installations. My initial idea is to
allow four kinds of installations:
Full XSB installation
XSB\*
Base XSB installation
C:\XSB\bin\*
C:\XSB\config\*
C:\XSB\syslib\*
C:\XSB\cmplib\*
C:\XSB\lib\*
Minimal XSB installation
C:\XSB\bin\*
C:\XSB\config\*
C:\XSB\syslib\*.xwam
C:\XSB\cmplib\*.xwam
C:\XSB\lib\*.xwam
Custom XSB installation
Base
Minimal
Documentation
C:\XSB\docs\*
Examples
C:\XSB\examples\*
Packages
C:\XSB\packages\*
Your feedback on this setup is appreciated.
All the best,
Paulo
