Hi!
I've added a new directory to the XSB CVS version, "admin/windows",
containing preliminary support for building a Windows GUI installer.
The installer is built using Inno Setup, which can be freely
downloaded from the URL:
http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php
Building the installer is easy:
1. Perform a manual installation of the XSB files that you want to
include on a Windows computer on C:\XSB.
2. Open the "dmin/windows/xsb.iss" file using the Inno Setup Compiler
3. Run the menu command Build > Compile.
In this first iteration of the building script, XSB is installed by
default in "C:\Program Files" (I'm not sure if paths with spaces can
be a problem). The script is short and simple and I would appreciate
if someone more acquainted with the XSB Windows version (I'm a Mac
user ;-) would take over from here.
All the best,
Paulo
