Hi,
Contradicting earlier announcements I've uploaded 5.5.40. 5.6.0 is still
expected in the week 19-23 december (most likely near the end of that week).
5.5.40 adds the GMP foreign interface and fixes a couple of problems in
notably the HTTP server and Semweb libraries causing problems in the
research project I'm involved in. As the project has developers using
Windows, MacOS, 32-bit and 64-bit linux an intermediate release is the
most convenient solution.
Summary:
* Added GMP foreign interface
* Fixes in listing and the GUI tracer affecting code we like to use :-)
* Added flag timezone providing information on the current timezone
* Enhanced support for datatypes in the Semweb library rdfs.pl
* Fixed last-modified handling in the HTTP server and allow for
easier dealing with if-modified-since headers in client code.
