Robin, thanks. You've set me off on an interesting journey of discovery. I
think I need to construct a modeline that interlaces. I have a similar aged
Dell Vi1428E, which responded well to disabling the acceleration. Now I have
a perfect stereo ghost image, I'll look back at my old Woody backups and see
if I can find a suitable sample modeline.
