Alas, on the demudi livecd (booted with alsa
cheatcode), there is no aadebug command found, and
there is not even a /dev/alsa directory!
cat /proc/asound/cards tells the following:
0 [YMF724 ]: YMF724 - Yamaha DS-XG (YMF724)
Yamaha DS-XG (YMF724) at 0xfedf0000, irq 10
(thats a PCI card with a joystick/midi port). I also
have an ISA ESS1869 and ALS100 card, and a USB midi
interface (m-audio midiman).
I thought the liveCD would work to help me get midi
working? Am I wrong, and actually need to install to
harddrive?
