Happy Thanksgiving for those on this side of the pond. Will be going to
the mates parents for turkey day. Tomorrow my band, Chris Plays Guitar
(http://www.chrisplaysguitar.com) will be going into the studio to
record our next album. The working title is "This Sounds Even Worse!".
It makes sense when you consider the first album is called "I Like Their
Old Stuff Better!" (Get It?) I am preparing by listening and TRYING to
play along with Bass player Mark King of Level 42. God I wish I had the
sense of meter that guy has. And after 17 years I still haven't figured
out how to play "Running In The Family". It's not the notes, it's the
slap technique that's always caused me to stumble. I was apparently born
funk-less.
