- The kernel log (kern.log) does not tell more:
Nov 20 18:57:32 Oda kernel: ieee1394: sbp2: Logged into SBP-2 device
Nov 20 18:57:32 Oda kernel: ieee1394: sbp2: Node 0-00:1023: Max speed [S400] -
Max payload [2048]
Nov 20 18:57:32 Oda kernel: ieee1394: Node added: ID:BUS[0-00:1023]
GUID[0010b920008a1625]

- It is a Maxtor, onetouch, 200GB, with firewire and USB (though the USB port
does not work, the firewireport work on other systems as Windows and Gentoo
Linux)

- I have tried /dev/sdb1 and varius other paths.

- I am sure it is formated with vfat. Did go trough some work to reformat it
from NTFS and still keep about 100GB.

- Kernel: # uname -r
2.4.25-1-multimedia-686
