[android-developers] How to change the "tone color" of an audio file??

My application wants to change the tone color of an audio stream
(mp3/3gp format) to imitate the voice of several pets(such as dog,
cat, ...).

But I find that Android doesn't provide any API to adjust the
propertities of audio stream. How can I change the tone color??
