autodir 
Description: Autodir is for creating directories transparently to the applications accessing them based on available information from sources like password database, group database.
Currently it supports creating home directories and group directories. Autodir can be used to create home,group directories for ldap/NIS/SQL unix accounts.
Autodir depends on linux autofs kernel module to transparently detect directory requests and create them on demand.
Autodir also supports calling backup programs transparently when specific direcotory not in use so that whole system does not need to bring offline for backup purpose.
Autodir is written using posix threads.
