New Chrome Rev. Speedier!
From the Faster Pussycat! dept.:
...We've increased our focus on speed and also added some of the most-requested features. Some of these improvements made it into the Beta version that we first released in March, and we've continued to improve the Beta since then. Today, we are moving the Beta version to the stable channel for all users to enjoy. chrome.blogspot.com

I have been using firefox for a long time and i am happy with it. If it isn't broke don't fix it. But with all this buzz surrounding chrome. I may just have to see what all the buzz is about.

Looking forward this release. Over the months firefox has became slower and slower. On my computer firefox uses almost 1go of my memory and is too slow.

That's wonderful. I got turned onto Chrome a few months back and have loved it. It is a super light weight and very fast. I still use firefox on my home PC because of the extra features and themes. But it sounds like I'll be putting the new version of Chrome on my laptop and PC

I am a loyal FF user, too; however, Chrome is a TON faster. Not as full-featured, but the speed is addictive!

I have not used chrome yet. I have been using firefox. But with all buzz behind chrome i think should try it out and see ow it goes. Thanks for the news

This is a great news to us all chrome users but still, I expect more. I am really comfortable using chrome but there are still so many things mozilla has that chrome cannot offer. I am just wondering, why is it that google chrome does not have google toolbar download? Isn't it supposed to be open for google since it is google's name anyway.

I'm a great fan of Google Chrome. I especially like their Incognito window! I get to open sites that my younger sisters/nephews/niece can't see in the history lol. Very safe!

The new Chrome is definitely faster. The interface is cleaner than most other browsers that I have used. And quite stable too!

You can't beat Firefox for features but I do like the speed of Chrome. A mix of both works for me!

I totally love chrome, way better than firefox. Firefox takes ages to start up on my pc, but I suppose when it eventually does start up, it is a little faster than chrome.

I am glad that they continue to make improvements to Chrome. The original iteration was abominable but its speed and ease of use in later versions has made it indispensable for use.
Now If I could just code for it!

I am very happy to hear this because this will help many peoples because most of the peoples use Firefox but Chrome should be more faster so it will be more useful for everyone.
